Here are five tips from the Experts at GNC to help you get on track and stay on track.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Set a goal and talk about it<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>When you have a goal you\u2019re hoping to achieve, research shows that talking about it can help make you more likely to achieve it. Talk about it to your friends, family, and partner\u2014manifest that positive change and feel the difference.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Plan &amp; prepare<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Make a specific plan for what you\u2019re going to do and how you will do it. If your goal is to eat healthier, a specific plan may look something like this: you will plan your meals out each Sunday morning, make a grocery list, shop for the food, then come home and prep your meals for the week from 3-5 pm. Mark the times in your calendar and schedule around it like any other commitment you\u2019ve made.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Create a supportive environment<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>When you\u2019re pursuing a health goal, stack the deck in favor of success by creating an environment that is intentionally supportive of your goal. If we rely on willpower alone, we\u2019re less likely to succeed! If you are on a mission to exercise regularly, take your dry-cleaning bag and laundry off your exercise bike and make the area look like a place where you want to spend some time. Trying to eat less junk food? Do a pantry cleanse and replenish with some <a href=\"\/healthy-food\/snacks\/\">healthy snack options<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Make it easy on yourself<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>When you can, minimize the thought and effort required to stick to a healthy habit. If you can\u2019t get to the gym without your pre-workout dose or, well, pre-workout, don\u2019t allow yourself to run out. Put your pre-workout on a subscription, so you never lose that motivation to hit the gym\u2014not even for a day!
